
When Should You Reset a Shark Robot?
Reset your robot if:
- It won’t connect to WiFi
- It shows offline in app
- It won’t start cleaning
- It freezes mid-cycle
- It fails firmware update
Resetting clears temporary firmware glitches and network pairing data.
Soft Reset (Power Cycle)

Use for minor glitches:
- Turn robot OFF
- Remove from dock
- Wait 60 seconds
- Turn back ON
Factory Reset (Full Network Reset)

For models including RV754:
- Power ON
- Press and hold Dock + Clean for 10–15 seconds
- Wait for flashing light/beep
- Power OFF
- Wait 60 seconds
- Power ON and reconnect in app
This erases WiFi credentials and pairing data.
After Reset — What To Do
- Ensure phone is on 2.4GHz WiFi
- Reinstall Shark Clean app if needed
- Follow pairing process again
